Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This website is the personal site of Alessandro Fabiano. It is designed to process as little personal data as possible: there are no accounts, no forms, no newsletters, no advertising and no analytics.
Data controller
Alessandro Fabiano — contact: info@afabiano.com. For any question about this policy or your data, write to this address.
What data is processed
Technical navigation data. The site is hosted on Vercel (Vercel Inc.). Like any hosting provider, Vercel processes technical data required to serve and secure the site (such as IP addresses and request logs). This processing is based on the legitimate interest in operating the website securely. Transfers outside the EU, where they occur, take place under the safeguards provided by applicable data-protection law.
Data you choose to send. If you contact me by email, I process your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message — solely to read and reply to your correspondence. The legal basis is taking steps at your request. Messages are kept only as long as the correspondence reasonably requires.
What is not done
This site does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies, does not run analytics, does not profile visitors, does not sell or share personal data, and does not embed third-party content that tracks you.
External links
Pages link to external services such as LinkedIn and Zenodo. Once you leave this site, the privacy policies of those services apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability, by writing to info@afabiano.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (for Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
Changes
If the site starts doing anything different from what is described here — for example adding analytics or a contact form — this policy will be updated before or at the same time.
